Operating Lease Program

Helicopters, owned with discipline.
Leased with clarity.

Programs

Structures we offer

01

Dry Operating Lease

Space Aviation acquires and owns the aircraft; you operate it under your own AOC and maintenance organisation. Terms from 12 months, hourly lease rate billed on the greater of actual flight hours or a minimum-hours guarantee, security deposit, and engine-cycle surcharge protection for high-cycle missions.

02

Sale & Leaseback

We purchase your in-service aircraft at a records-based valuation and lease it back without interrupting your operation. A clean way to release capital while keeping the machine on your line.

03

Aircraft Acquisition

We actively purchase flyable mid-life Airbus, Leonardo and Bell aircraft with complete, traceable records — directly from owners or through brokers. Fast principal decisions, escrow settlement, standard PSA documentation.

Aircraft we are acquiring now

Airbus (AS350 / H125 series, EC120, EC130 / H130, H135, H145 and more) · Leonardo (AW109 types) · Bell (505 / 429 and more) — light singles to twins. Complete logbooks and maintenance records required. Mid-life airframes and engines welcome; we price component status accurately rather than discounting blindly.

Asset Governance

How we look after what we own

Leasing a helicopter is easy. Knowing exactly what is being consumed every month is not. Our asset management is built on the same tooling we use for our own fleet in Japan.

Three-axis tracking
Every life-limited and overhaul-limited component is tracked on flight hours, cycles (Ng, Np and torque cycles) and calendar limits simultaneously, with the binding limit identified automatically for each component.
Monthly monitoring
Journey-log data is reconciled monthly: hours, torque cycles, Ng/Np cycles and utilisation patterns. High-cycle utility profiles are detected early and reflected in reserve planning.
OEM-based reserves
Overhaul events are planned against published OEM module pricing, not rules of thumb — so lease pricing is sustainable and surprises stay rare.
Records discipline
Pre-purchase inspection and full records review before acceptance; maintenance tracking reports and component cards kept current throughout the lease.

How we close

Track Record

Current portfolio activity

In Operation

AS350 B3e — Canada

36-month dry operating lease to a Transport Canada-approved operator. Intensive utility operations with monthly utilisation well above plan — governed by greater-of billing and cycle surcharge terms.

Closing

AS350 B3 — Second Aircraft

Follow-on acquisition under the same cross-border scheme: US escrow, staged deposits, PPI-gated acceptance, delivery with fresh major-component package.
